Easter Season 2022

Easter is upon us! You are invited to join us at 10:00am on Sunday April 17th as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We are also remembering the passion and sacrifice of Jesus with a Good Friday service, on April 15th at 2:00pm.

While these services give us a chance to remember and celebrate, the concept of Easter is not meant to be a one day event. This is something that should be remembered and celebrated year-round! Easter is the culmination of the Gospel message — God’s plan for salvation to all who will believe and enter into a relationship with Him thru Jesus Christ. Jesus willingly went to die on a cross in our place, so that we might have the way to a restored relationship with God. But the death on the cross is not the end of the story! He rose again, defeating death and providing for our salvation!

It is my hope and prayer that anyone reading this note, will take the time to evaluate his/her own relationship with God and give his/her life over to Christ. It may be the first time some have done so (see **** below). For others, you may have come to Christ in years past, but it has waned over time. Now is your chance for revival! Rededicate your life and begin growing close to God once again! Revival is our theme for 2020 so if you are unsure about what that can mean for you, come join us for 10am Sunday morning worship as we all strive to revive our hearts!

**** Feeling the tug of God on your heart? Thinking there has to be something more to this life? Not sure where to turn in an ever darkening world? If you are reading this and haven’t yet given your life to Christ, to assure your salvation in the life to come, there is a reason you found your way here! God is calling out to you! He is offering you the chance of an eternal lifetime! Simply, but earnestly and with sincerity of your whole heart and mind, pray … God, I may not know what it all means, but I know that I have messed up my life and I am in need of a savior and your forgiveness. I want Jesus to come into my heart and to begin a faith journey that grows closer to you each day. I thank you for the sacrifice you made on my behalf and want to live for you! AMEN!

Remember, it is not the WORDS you say, but the sincerity of the heart. If you prayed the words above or something that portrays the same idea, and truly meant it, congratulations and welcome! You are now a member of the Family of God!

I would love the opportunity to talk with you about your decision to follow Christ — please contact me by visiting Mayfield Chapel or reaching me via one of the contact methods on this site. If you are still unsure, then reach out so you might get your questions answered before it becomes too late! It is a matter of life AFTER death!
